It’s the same when they’re grocery shopping. They quickly walk through the entire store and grab the bare essentials, or at best, buy only what’s written on the list from their wife. for groceries together has several advantages. Men push the shopping cart and watch as we mindlessly pick up food we don’t even need. We keep an eye on sales and prices to stay within the family budget. Another benefit of shopping together is carrying the bags—both to the car and into the apartment or house. Men are stronger, so it’s clear we’ll let them handle this pleasant duty of being a gentleman.
It often happens that we even argue while shopping. Men don’t understand how we can shop and choose for so long. It takes us a lot of effort to decide what to buy so it isn’t expensive or unnecessary, and above all, we prioritize healthy foods. When we let men go shopping alone, they usually end up bringing home something completely different from what they intended. They come back tired, exhausted, and in a bad mood, hoping it was their last time doing that. On the contrary, we get immense joy from every shopping trip. It gives us energy and calms us down. We all have our own things that we enjoy, that make us happy, and that’s why everyone should do what makes them happy.
